The interior layout of Paradise is thoughtfully designed to maximize space and comfort. Below deck, the vessel offers two cabins, ideal for overnight stays, and a single head with a separate walk-in shower. Cockpit

The cockpit features a spacious, well-designed layout with newly installed ultra-leather upholstery on helm chairs and cockpit cushions (2024). It includes a helm station with a clear view of all navigation instruments, ergonomic seating for the captain and co-pilot, and a polished wood steering wheel. The area is surrounded by large windows, offering excellent visibility. The cockpit is also equipped with comfortable seating for guests, a wet bar, and easy access to the swim platform, making it ideal for both navigation and entertaining.

The hull of Paradise is crafted from FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic), offering a robust and durable build that ensures a smooth ride and excellent handling in various sea conditions. The hull is reinforced with Divinycell PVC foam core for added strength and insulation, providing lightweight yet highly resilient construction. The topsides have been carefully painted with a marine-grade paint system for long-lasting protection against the elements. 

The deck is also constructed from FRP with a balsa core, providing excellent strength-to-weight ratio, and features a tasteful teak overlay in the wheelhouse and cockpit areas, adding both beauty and functionality. A transom door leads out to the swim platform overlayed with simulated teak (2023), which is fitted with a hydraulic dinghy lift and stainless-steel swim ladder for easy water access. The deck layout is open and ergonomic, allowing for smooth movement between different sections of the boat.

Steering System 

Paradise is equipped with a robust and reliable steering system designed to provide precise control in a variety of sea conditions. The main steering system features a Seastar hydraulic system, with a single wheel located at the helm station for ease of operation. Two bronze rudders, supported by stainless steel rudder shafts, ensure responsive and controlled steering. 

The steering system has been meticulously maintained, with all components, including the rudder and fittings, observed to be in good condition. Additionally, the boat is outfitted with bow and stern thrusters, which allow for effortless maneuverability in tight spaces, making docking and close-quarters handling stress-free.

Mechanical and Propulsion Systems 

The mechanical and propulsion systems on Paradise are top-notch, ensuring reliable performance and smooth operation in a wide range of cruising conditions. Powered by twin Yanmar 6CXM GTE2 inboard diesel engines, this vessel provides a seamless cruising experience, combining power, efficiency, and low emissions. These engines were tested and found to be in excellent operating condition, with no excessive vibration or exhaust emissions. 

The vessel is also fitted with twin ZF 280A gearboxes for smooth transmission shifts. Twin 4-blade bronze propellers (26 x 33.5 inches) have been coated with Propspeed antifouling for maximum efficiency and corrosion resistance, ensuring they remain in excellent condition. Additionally, the bronze propeller shafts and struts, supported by PSS dripless shaft seals, provide long-term durability and smooth rotation, contributing to an overall quiet and vibration-free ride.

Tanks Fitted 

Paradise is equipped with ample tankage to support extended voyages, with a total of four main tanks for fresh water, black water, fuel, and gray water. The freshwater system is supported by two polyethylene tanks, offering a combined capacity of 160 gallons, while a Blue Water XT600 watermaker ensures an uninterrupted supply of potable water while at sea. 

The fuel system consists of aluminum tanks with a 450-gallon capacity, providing a long cruising range, and the black water tank is a 60-gallon polyethylene tank located under the saloon floor. The gray water is managed through a sump box system with a float switch, ensuring efficient drainage of non-sewage water.

Paradise is outfitted with comprehensive anchoring equipment designed for reliable and secure anchoring in various conditions. The main anchor is a 45-pound Rocna plough anchor mounted on a stainless-steel bow roller, accompanied by a galvanized chain in excellent condition. A secondary Fortress FX 23 Danforth anchor is stored in the bow locker, providing a backup option. 

The Muir 12V windlass makes raising and lowering the anchor effortless, and all chain rollers and fasteners are in stainless steel for maximum durability. In terms of safety, the vessel is equipped with an automatic Firebouy fire suppression system in the engine room, three electric dry bilge pumps, and a full set of 12 SOLAS-approved life jackets. Other safety equipment includes flares, a life ring with light and line, and a high-water alarm in the engine room.

The Simrad AP26 autopilot system offers ease of navigation on long passages, allowing the vessel to steer itself while the captain monitors other activities. The boat is also equipped with an AIS Class B (2018), ensuring real-time vessel tracking and identification, and a Standard Horizon VHF radio for reliable communication.
